A men’s group is a unique place were men can come together to explore themes, experiences and be emotionally open with each other about the complexities and challenges of being a man in the world today. Working through the areas that arise in the group, members have the opportunity to redefine themselves and readjust to the challenges in everyday life, in a more informed and conscious manner.
The group is a supportive, safe and confidential place to gather and share. There will be a maximum of eight members and will run over the course of 12 weeks. We will meet weekly for 2.5 hours with a break in the middle. Working foremost as a therapy group, with themes that are relevant to its male attendees, the group is collaborative so the themes and creative direction of the group can be negotiated by the group members and facilitator.
Prior to joining, Jim will meet each member on an individual basis. This will give you the opportunity to ask questions and to decide if this group is the right place for you.
This group is open to adult men and suited to individuals who are either in, or who have had experience of therapy or personal development work. The group will offer a space for its members to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences and receive feedback and support from other group members.
