Managing the menopause with CBT
If hot flushes, lack of sleep and increased stress affect your quality of life and if you are prepared to commit to group work over a period of six weeks, sharing your experiences of the menopause, this programme is for you.
Using a combination of evidence-based interventions (CBT) and non-medical treatments which have been found to help women manage their menopausal symptoms, you will learn to monitor your triggers, make appropriate lifestyle changes including using paced breathing and relaxation techniques to reduce the frequency and intensity of hot flushes. All in a supportive group.
Material supplied includes handouts and relaxation audio.
