Level 5 diploma in counselling supervision
This 30 hour course delivered over 10 weeks is aimed at experienced and qualified counsellors who adhere to a professional code of ethics.
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge and create an additional offer to your existing counselling services.
It offers the chance to learn about a number of supervision models and the characteristics and features of each. The course participants will develop an understanding of the implications of their behaviours and interventions on the supervisee thus allowing review and reflection of their supervisory styles.
This course will build awareness of the importance of ethical principles and frameworks in supervisory practice and encourage participants to critically evaluate ethical approaches to supervision.
Participants will practice and develop supervision skills throughout and will need to supervise at least one supervisee during the course to achieve the minimum of five hours of practice as a supervisor that is required to complete.
