Letting go of anxiety - a six-week course
This practical, face-to-face course runs over six weeks in central Edinburgh (Tuesdays 7-9pm). It will give you the knowledge, skills and support you need to actively manage and let go of your anxiety, reducing its negative impact on your life.
In two-hour blocks, you'll meet with a small group (max six people) led by a therapist to:
- share your experience of anxiety
- learn how it affects your body and mind
- understand how it relates to your environment (past and present)
- practice strategies for managing and letting go
The course gives you 12 hours of contact time with a therapist, in which you can explore your own experience, concerns and life issues while giving/receiving support with other group members.
After months of being online and the anxiety that the pandemic has generated, this course offers you the opportunity to learn alongside other people and get used to being in social contact again.
Once you've registered for the course, I (the host) will contact you to find out what you're looking for and needing, and to answer any other questions you may have.
The venue - Dialogue & Space - offers spacious accommodation. The room is large enough for us to move freely and there are COVID-19 precautions in place to make it as safe as possible.
