Introduction to walking therapy

15th - 16th February 2020, 10.00am - 4.30pm
Counsellors and trainees
£120
NLangley Counselling & Training, Hythe, Kent, CT21 6JN

Designed for qualified counsellors who are interested in leaving the armchair behind and moving towards a walking therapy practice. This is an 'upgraded version' of my popular workshop 'therapy whilst walking'. The training runs over a full weekend (Saturday-Sunday).

I have expanded the experiential element of the learning and we will look at the psychological and therapeutic benefits of working outdoors, as well as focusing on the practical, ethical, and business implications. There's a lot more to walking therapy than most realise, and this is an opportunity to begin developing/adapting your own model in a nature-focused way.

As a big part of the work will venture out and use the sky as our ceiling, either along the canal in Hythe or up towards the seafront, so you will need to bring your walking shoes and depending on the time of year, warm/waterproof clothes!

10:00 am-4:30 pm on both days.

Refreshments provided, but you will need to bring lunch!
