Introduction to transactional analysis (TA) (or understanding yourself and others).
The two-day TA 101 course is the official introduction to transactional analysis. TA is a theory of personality and offers a range of models that can be used to understand communication and relationships.

Tools used on the course can be used in your personal life, at work, socially and as the beginning of a changing career.

Come and join us on an exciting journey of discovery where you will be introduced to the main concepts of TA, which will offer you a way of understanding yourself and others.

About the course

The course will include concepts such as:

  • Ego states - why do I sometimes feel like I'm a little kid again? Or sometimes act like my mum or dad?
  • Psychological games - why can I feel the car crash coming in this conversation?
  • Life scripts - why do I keep on repeating the same old mistakes?
  • Transactions - what is going on in this dialogue?
  • Autonomy - hey, this way of relating feels great!

In addition, if you are already working or training as a therapist, TA is a great tool to add to your professional skills.

We limit the number of places on the TA101 course to make sure every attendee gets the most out of the course. Our small group sizes mean you get personalised support from your tutors and lots of time for discussion with others, individual feedback and personal reflection. The TA101 course is practical and interactive, enabling you to put what you are learning straight into practice.

Following attendance of this course (minimum 12 hours), you will be awarded an internationally recognised certificate, which is issued by UKATA. The course will be delivered by Hanna Konoplianyk PTSTA, a UKATA registered trainer.

Book your place via Eventbrite or for further information, visit our website.

The TA101 Certificate is an internationally recognised qualification and is a pre-requisite for further training in Transactional Analysis as a psychotherapist, or within organisational development or educational TA.
