Introduction to creative therapy: working holistically with trauma
This is an introduction to working holistically with trauma, using a variety of therapeutic approaches and skills. Students / practitioners will explore a number of creative, transpersonal approaches, including the following:
- Sound, movement and voice
- Creative arts
- Dramatic arts
- Transpersonal and gestalt theory.
It will provide an insight into using powerful tools, both personally and professionally, for transforming trauma.
There will also be opportunities to discuss further personal and professional development, with our exciting programme of workshops and courses throughout the year.
Please bring a contribution for a shared lunch. General refreshments will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat and throw (limited number of mats and throws are available upon request, if you are not able to bring your own).
About Shelley Lamprell-Josephs
We are Shelley Lamprell-Josephs and Raff Gant, from Phoenix Transpersonal Training and Development, We both have extensive backgrounds in integrative, (particularly humanistic and transpersonal approaches) therapy, with a combination of over 40 years experience between us.
We have BA(Hons) and PGDip in therapeutic work and training qualifications.
