Introduction to counselling
This workshop is aimed at anyone curious about counselling or interested in improving communications with others by learning a few useful techniques. It would be worthwhile to anyone who is just wondering what counselling is, as well as someone who has signed up to formally study counselling in the near future and just curious what it might all be about.
Introduction to counselling will give you basic information about counselling, learn about some theory, practice skills and consider what, if anything, comes next for you.
This course is divided into four sessions:
1. What is Counselling?
2. Learning about theory
3. Counselling skills
4. What's next?
All participants will receive a certificate of participation, tea and coffee throughout, and a guarantee they will learn something they didn't expect.
