Internal family systems (IFS) introductory workshop
Internal family systems or IFS is a gentle, respectful and extremely powerful approach to healing, self-discovery and personal development. It gives people the tools and methodology to improve the relationship they have with themselves. It is wonderful for working with and getting to know, self-loathing, critical parts, depressed, anxious or angry parts and aspects of ourselves we feel ashamed of or wish we didn't have.
IFS is also a way of being with others, a way of communicating and improving relationships. It gives people access to insights, that then allow them to communicate more authentically, to represent or talk for their parts in their intimate relationships, at work and in every aspect of living.
This workshop will give an overview of the IFS model, an opportunity to explore experientially your own internal family system and either watch a DVD of Richard Schwartz founder of the model working with a client or a live demo.
The day is designed to be enjoyable, fun and interactive and suitable for anyone who wishes to learn more about this exciting and much talked about therapy, you will be made very welcome.
