Internal Family Systems (IFS) introductory workshop
Here is a opportunity to experience this cutting edge method of personal development and psychotherapy. IFS is a gentle respectful and extremely powerful way of being with people and there is growing research to support its efficacy.
Richard Schwartz Ph.D. talked about his inspirational IFS model at the recent Healing Trauma Summit in Belfast where the IFS UK team were also present. Internal Family Systems (IFS) was recommended in the treatment of trauma by Bessel van der Kolk, Janina Fisher and Gabor Mate during their presentations in Belfast.
IFS has changed my life and my practice, and this workshop is designed to give you an overview of the IFS model, to explore experientially your own internal family system and discover tools and ways of being with yourself and your clients that will make relating clearer and easier. You will gain some knowledge of system thinking and have a chance to practice. The day is designed to be relaxed, friendly and enjoyable.
If like me you are interested in and like working with the mind, body, brain, heart connection and using mindfulness then IFS may just be what you have been looking for. For more information about IFS visit www.selfleadership.org
