Infant observation - 1 year course from January 2017
This one year infant observation course will take place from January 2017, and will consist of a weekly online webinar series where participants alternate in presenting their observations, discussing the process and theories of the developing relationship, weekly group peer support meetings in Leicester, and the weekly one hour infant observation. There is a written reflection to be completed at the end of the course.
There will be three terms of approximately 10 weeks each, and the course will cover the entire year. The peer support group will be available outside of the term times - there are five places available in this cohort.
The course is accredited by APPCIOS and will be delivered by an experienced senior child psychotherapist.
It is anticipated that this course will consist of participants who are qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, though an additional course may be provided for those who are not qualified in these fields, but whose interests and work may benefit from the experience.
