Improving mental health and resilience in young people using NLP
NLP is like a user’s manual for the brain, helping people to understand their mind, improve relationships and communication, and find effective ways of reaching their goals. NLP with young people can support them to find out ‘how they tick’, what motivates them and develop positive strategies for improving resilience.
The day will introduce you to NLP principles and models to help you understand how we ‘tick’ and make sense of our world. Using applied strategies and techniques of NLP and Positive Psychology you will be given the opportunity to explore these throughout the day and discuss how they best fit with the young people that you support in your work. The techniques are suitable for later primary up to 18 years.
