How to manage anxiety and depression
Every Friday from 10am to 1pm for six weeks starting on Friday October 12th.
All are very welcome on this course and no previous attendance on any course is required.
We are running this series of workshops to tackle some of the main issues surrounding anxiety and depression in an accessible and manageable format. It is structured in such a way that to gain the most benefit from the course we advise that people attend all six sessions.
These group workshops are delivered by a qualified therapist and follow evidence-based interventions using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to help manage anxiety and depression.
Session one – What is CBT and self-care?
Session two – depression and sleep.
Session three – anxiety and stress.
Session four – thought management
Session five –worry, problem solving.
Session six – assertiveness and future planning
£250 per person for all six sessions.
This is a psycho-educational course aimed at providing education around the management of anxiety and depression, not a therapy group. Therefore people are able to attend if they are already receiving therapy. The course is based on NICE guidelines for treating anxiety and depression.
