Head teachers' resilience and well-being programme
You can enrol now for this year's new programme.
Supporting the resilience and well-being of head teachers in schools, free schools and academies, this programme provides a tranquil, confidential, safe place to offload, recharge, relax and learn. Working in small groups with head teacher colleagues from several local authorities, this sensitively facilitated programme is co-designed to help you get what you need to be the best you can in your job.
The programme is now in its eighth year and head teachers enrol again, year on year. It is highly regarded and well-reviewed: many colleagues say that this is what has kept them in Headship - and kept them sane!
At an excellent venue (providing very good food and care), we talk about how life has been at work for you (the good and the not-so-good), and group members provide an empathic, knowledgeable listening ear. You'll gain plenty of practical hints and tips - as well as being able to share your own - and a great deal of emotional support too.
Groups choose to focus on areas such as work-life balance, managing difficult people, conflict resolution skills, what makes a successful, happy head teacher, surviving OFSTED, finding pleasure and purpose in the role.
I am delighted to facilitate these programmes and to share my many years' experience of working with head teachers and in schools.
I'd really like to hear from you if you're interested - but maybe a bit unsure - and would like to know more.
