Join me in a guided visualisation for the summer solstice, on Thursday 20th June, 8.30-9am. The summer solstice marks the so-called longest day, the moment when the sun's path in the sky is farthest north in the Northern Hemisphere. The word solstice means 'sun stands still' because the apparent movement of the Sun's path north or south stops before changing direction. So, the theme of this meditation and visualisation is pausing and being still, amongst activity.

All around us, nature is in full flow, at the peak of her activities of growth. This time of year is usually busy and full for us humans too, with lots of commitments, both pleasurable and onerous to be pulled towards. Amongst all this activity, take half an hour with me to pause, come into stillness and observe this peak of energy.

During this session, we will start with some gentle breathing exercises and a body scan to bring the body and mind into a state of deep relaxation. I will then use my voice to guide you through an imaginary landscape and experiences designed to help you explore your subconscious world and innermost ideas and resources. After the visualisation/meditation, there will be time for you to draw or journal as you wish to capture what came up for you. To finish we will invite each other to share some of their experience, as we feel comfortable. There is no obligation to speak or share anything, you can simply listen and relax.

This is a pay-what-you-feel event (you are welcome to attend for free or use PayPal (Fresh Air Therapy, using the friends and family option please) to pay any amount you choose), and registration via Zoom is required.

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting
