Group counselling for relationship breakups
The ending of a relationship can feel devastating, whether you have been married, in a civil partnership or cohabiting. There is a powerful sense of loss, low self-esteem and an unclear direction in how to live your life going forward.
Within a group counselling setting, I believe talking with people who share your experiences in similar circumstances can help. You are not alone.
I invite you to participate in this six-week short-term counselling group and find support and understanding from people who can relate to you.
When: Monday evenings weekly, starting 24th June 2024 until 29th July 2024.
Time: Sessions begin at 6.00 pm and end at 7.00 pm.
Where: Online via Zoom.
Who: For adults aged 18 or over. Please note that this is a space for individual reflection, and is not intended for couples/families to attend together.
To book: email michelle.lilley.counselling@gmail.com
As the facilitator, I emphasise attending to boundaries and exchanges in the group, to hold all participants safely and make the most of opportunities to learn from each other. I respect everyone's autonomy to choose how much they feel ready and willing to share.

About the facilitator Michelle Lilley is a qualified counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and in advanced training as a psychotherapist. Working in private practice in West London, and in the charity sector.
