'Gifts from within' - a therapeutic dream group
Our dreams are deeply subjective and personal to each of us. Dreams can present us with what we know about ourselves at a level that lies beyond familiar ways of experiencing ourselves. Working with dreams can bring clarity, self-definition, and resolution of unresolved issues.
This group is for people who want to be in an on-going therapy group with a focus on working with dreams.
My approach to working with dreams is humanistic and draws on gestalt psychology and Keleman's formative psychology.
Maximum of eight participants.
Participants are encouraged to write down their dreams and share them in the group. Bringing a tiny snippet of a dream if that's all you remember is fine. It's also fine to come to this group if you can't remember any of your dreams.
By having time to engage with the experience of our dreams we begin to see them as unexpected gifts from deep within us. As we define the experience more clearly we can become more aware of who we are and of new, emerging shapes and patterns, and of new and different ways of being ourselves and being in the world.
Summer term dates: Saturdays 18th April, 2nd, 16th and 30th May, 13th and 27th June.
Time: 10 am-12.30 pm.
