Gender and sexual diversity diploma (focus Fridays x 6 dates)
Focus Fridays - A diploma in gender and sexual diversity studies. For anyone with working with or supporting individuals with gender and sexually diverse presentations in the helping professions. The diploma covers:
- developing a gender and sexual diversity affirmative practice
- critical issues in working with LGBTQ+ clients, service users, sponsees
- children and adolescent gender and sexuality
- intersectionality and implicit bias
- kink and BDSM
No qualifications necessary however a 'helping profession' focus is key. Find out about the roots of gender and sexuality, difficulties experienced by individuals and how to best support those who identify as gender and sexually diverse.
Full attendance of this six-day modular programme (six individual days) will attain a diploma in gender and sexual diversity studies: Fridays: 8th October, 19th November 2021. 7th January, 4th February, 4th March, 8th April 2022.
