Forest bathing wander - Spring equinox
In Spring, what has been resting or slowly growing in the dark is starting to make its way to the light. The energy stored during Winter can now be used. It is the time to open up, sprout and blossom!
Among the tender greens and new shoots, we will walk at a gentle pace in the forest on an easy and short trail. I will offer you specially crafted activities to help you slow down, ground yourself and engage all your senses. And you will be invited to explore nature in an entirely new way. There will also be moments to share our experience together and time spent in silence. And to end the walk, we'll share a celebratory forest tea.
We will meet in Chingford, only 30 minutes from Liverpool Street, and with easy access to Epping Forest.
Who is it for?
Adults 18+. It is not a hike and doesn’t require to be particularly fit.
And if you recognise yourself in the following statements, it might be a good activity for you - this is not an exhaustive list of course:
- I often struggle with anxiety
- I spend a lot of time in my head
- I experience guilt when I rest and "do nothing"
- I feel overworked and stressed
- I'd like to live more according to my natural rhythm
- I can sense being in nature is beneficial to me and want to deepen my connection to it
- I'd like to experience a stronger sense of belonging
