Flowers Within creative workshop - June 2019
- You will be part of an experiential group.
- You will explore using art materials what is going on within you through activities suggested by Chinar, the Workshop Facilitator.
- There will be an opportunity to share your experience with others in the group.
Confidentiality is important to keep group members feeling safe in the group. Therefore, once you leave the workshop, please only talk about your own experience and do not speak about what other members have shared.
No artistic skills or qualifications are needed.
Please make sure you have a good support network or that you are in therapy, so that you have someone to talk to once you leave the workshop in case you are left with any uncomfortable feelings.
Expressing yourself with art materials can help you increase your self-awareness, gain new insights and find clarity. It can give you a chance to stop for a moment and reflect on what is happening in your life. It may enable you to release your thoughts and emotions.
Sometimes it may just be about the joy of being there and being open to seeing what will come from this experience.
I hope you can join me.
Booking is required as spaces are limited. Group sizes are small - a maximum of six will be permitted on this occasion.
Participants will each receive an MP3 of a meditation written by Chinar for inspiration and relaxation.
Upon request, a certificate of attendance can be given.
This event is part of London Creativity and Wellbeing Week.
