Film review from a pschotherapists perspective
A free talk in Epping by an NHS psychotherapist with 15 years experience.
‘Let’s get this conversation started’ is a free series of talks and discussions brought to you by MW conversations. The aim is to bring to life latest psychological theory and research. We aim to do this through the use of film, stories, art and conversations.
Our first conversation will be based around compassion theory and the film “A monster calls” - no knowledge of either before hand needed!
This is not a a therapy group. We will not be exploring people’s personal circumstances. This is rather an opportunity to play around with ideas in a creative setting.
We believe art and psychology have an incredible overlap of wisdom and insight. In addition, groups of people often allow for multiple truths and perspectives which can stretch our understandings and shape new avenues of adventure.
Come join the conversation!!
It’s at 10am in Jack Silley Pavillion in Epping, CM16 6SS, free parking outside the venue.
We’d appreciate it if you ‘follow’ our page so we can update you about future talks and well-being courses: https://m.facebook.com/MWConversations
Any questions about what this or what else we do just message us.
