A confidential, safe and tranquil experience to help understand and use mindfulness for personal and professional development. Because horses have evolved in an environment where being fully aware of their surroundings is a matter of life and death, they live entirely in the present. They are also very skilled communicators, using movement and breath to connect with each other in a peaceful and authentic manner. As such, horses make excellent mindfulness teachers: in order to learn to communicate effectively with them, it is necessary to be fully present, to develop an awareness that mirrors theirs.

Through equine assisted therapy/mindfulness, this workshop sets out to explore the blocks, resistance and emotional responses to change. Breathe and communicate with the herd and they may talk back to you.

No riding is involved and you don't need any previous experience of horses.

Light refreshments, hot and cold drinks will be provided throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch and wear suitable clothing and footwear.

Limited spaces are available so remember to book early.

Run by accredited practitioner of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, Julia Hall, who has more than 20yrs experience in her field. The workshop can be used for CPD hours.
