Diploma in casework counselling supervision (accredited at level 6)
U&I Training Academy has a long history of providing high quality competitively priced training for counsellors, psychotherapists and supervisors. This level six supervision diploma will be delivered over five weekends between September 2018 and May 2019. The course is designed around the BACP supervision curriculum recommendations, covering both the theory and practice of supervision.
The course will be delivered by a team of four highly qualified practitioners, supervisors and trainers. Entry is by interview, plus the submission of two professional references (one must be current supervisor). Applicants must be qualified practitioners with at least one year post qualification, currently in practice and with a minimum of 250 practice hours (includes 100 qualifying practice hours). BACP or similar membership is essential.
The lead trainer is John Tomkins, counsellor, supervisor and trainer/lecturer (PGCE) with over 20 years experience. John has an excellent reputation for the delivery of training throughout North East Wales, North Shropshire and North West England. Accredited BACP Practitioner, qualified Mental Health Practitioner and Relationship/Couple Counsellor.
