The short series of workshops will explore different counselling approaches with the aim of widening what we offer our clients as they make sense of their life experience. In a small group (eight to ten) of counsellors and psychotherapists, and coaches we explore a range of topics relevant to our current experience.
We use written and audio/visual resources to start discussions in which the participants can both learn from others and offer their own unique insights.
The series comprises three morning sessions over a three month period. Each runs from on a Saturday morning (9-30am to 12 noon) and a CPD certificate will be issued for each session.
This series will be on April 21st, June 2nd and July 14th.
Cost is £50 for the whole series (one-off sessions £20). An advance payment of £15 (£5 for one-off session) (non-returnable) will reserve your place with the balance payable at the first session.
Topics already discussed in first series included use of rites and rituals, adoption, and traumas from extended periods of abuse. A comment was:
"Thank you for organising the CPD session yesterday. I enjoyed the topic and found it very interesting, if not a little disturbing!"
Come and be disturbed!
