CPCAB level two introduction to counselling skills

This course is for individuals who wish to learn initial counselling skills to help others - either in a voluntary or an employed situation - or for individuals who wish to find out more about counselling. This course will not equip you to be a counsellor but it may help in deciding whether you wish to train as a counsellor.
The 30-hour course is taught over 10 weekly sessions. These will be held from 2.00pm - 5.00pm on Saturday afternoons. The course is accredited by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) and carries five units at level two on the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF).

The course will be taught by Gill Harvey MBACP (Accred) and ACC (Accred). Gill is an experienced therapeutic counsellor, supervisor and trainer.
