Counsellor to coach - introduction
Coaching is increasingly recognised as a development route for counsellors and psychotherapists. It can help you attract more clients, support your existing clients and build a portfolio career. Counsellors and psychotherapists are very well placed to add coaching to their skillset, because there is considerable overlap in the skills involved, although there are also significant differences.
This course provides an introduction to the field of coaching. You will learn:
- ways of thinking about the interface between therapy and coaching
- how coaching could benefit your practice and your clients
- ethical and practical considerations of becoming a coach
- a framework for coaching interventions that you can use straight away
This course can be taken stand-alone and is also a route into the 'Counsellor to Coach Diploma' that will launch in October 2024. Attendees of the introduction course will receive a 10% (£79) discount on the diploma price.
