Counsellor Development Forum

The Counsellor Development Forum offers low-cost CPD and networking. Meeting once a month in central Sheffield (1.5 hours early evening), there is a programme of speakers on various topics. Sometimes these are taster sessions linked to workshops or short courses. The taster gives you an opportunity to find out more about a topic and decide whether you would like to take it further. You are asked, if you attend a CDF session, to contribute £10 (waged, or £5 unwaged) to cover costs. Workshops and courses are individually priced dependent on length etc. We endeavour to keep prices modest.
If you would like to be informed of forthcoming sessions and workshops please email enquiries@counsellingacademy.org to be added to the emailing list. See www.counsellingacademy.org.uk for information about The Academy: S.P.A.C.E. (Sheffield Psychotherapy and Counselling Education).
Sessions coming up include: Supporting Parenting; Working with Trauma; An atheist reflects on spirituality and counselling; Working with Sexual Issues; Sisters; Art in therapy; Movement Therapy.
Workshops coming up include: Solution Focused Therapy (March); Supporting Parenting; Working with Sexual Issues; Working with Young People's Emotional Wellbeing.
Please let us know if you have a topic you want to hear more about or a speaker you think other people would be interested in hearing from.
