Counselling skills for healthcare professionals
A one-day workshop in counselling skills that’s designed for professionals working in the healthcare field.
- Do you work with patients or clients that need emotional support, but you don't feel you have the skills to support them?

- Perhaps you would like to improve your communication skills with both patients, clients and colleagues?
In this one-day workshop you will learn key skills to improve your communication and enhance your listening skills. You will gain the confidence to work more effectively with patients to unravel concerns that could be vital to ensuring a positive outcome.
This workshop is suitable for doctors, nurses, care workers and those working in all areas of healthcare. The workshop is also suitable for those working in the voluntary sector who work with vulnerable people as part of their role.
Participants will be awarded a West Sussex Counselling Training (WSCT) certificate of attendance for seven CPD hours.

Vivienne Bonnett BSc (Hons) PGCE, MBACP (registered)
Vivienne qualified as an integrative counsellor in 2005 and has worked within the NHS and in private practice. She has been training Counsellors since 2011 and holds a post graduate certificate in education.
