Counselling children and young people: using creative ways of working
This taster morning workshop aims to offer attendees an opportunity for:
- A brief look at Virginia Axline’s eight principles of non-directive play therapy.
- How do I accept a child/young person exactly where he/she is?
- How can I be non-directive in my response to the child’s actions or conversations?
After discussing theory, we will use CYP case examples and skills practice to experience and explore using creativity with CYP clients.
Includes certificates of attendance for CPD purposes and also a workshop handbook.
