Counselling Children and Adolescents: A Creative Approach
Counselling Children and Adolescents: A Creative Approach is a unique course which offers specialist skills to professionals and key workers who are working alongside children and adolescents between 4-18 years of age, and will equip the learner to gain skills and knowledge in how to work therapeutically with this age group.
The minimum age of entry is 21 years and leaners must hold a current CRB check/clearnace.
It has been designed as a QCF (Qualification Credit Framework) level 3 programme of study and is accredited by Play Therapy UK: PTUK.
The duration of the course is 120 hours teaching with two options:
Option One: 34 x 3 hour weekly sessions plus 3 play days (6 hours each)
Option Two: 24 days (6 hours each)
This course (Option One) will be commencing on Tuesday January 8th 2013.
