Our beginner-level courses are geared towards those who have little or no experience in counselling. Some folks apply because they want to change their career path and become qualified counsellors, and others have no interest in being a counsellor but want to listen better, improve their boundaries and relationships and work on knowing themselves better.
Those who apply are a really wonderful mix of diverse backgrounds and experiences - social care, education, health, hair and beauty, retail and lots more!
Our beginners courses start in April 2025 (after Easter hols) and September 2025. We deliver both as an online option and also face to face:
- Introduction to counselling - 12 week (30 hour module)
- COSCA Certificate in counselling skills - 4 Module (120 hours)
