The event will be focusing on;
  • symptoms related to depression
  • an introduction to the main symptoms of depression and what to look for (e.g. psychological, physical, and social factors)
  • highlighting the severity of the symptoms, when they become clinical, and when they need medical (along with psychotherapeutic) interventions

Organiser: Repercia Therapeutic Counselling Services

Facilitators: Qualified counsellor and a forensic mental health nurse.

Method: We will provide a safe environment for attendees to explore thoughts and feelings that have been hindering to seek help and move on. Our method, based on years of clinical assessments, is delivered by providing powerpoints to demonstrate the challenges some people experience as they struggle to identify symptoms that affected their livelihood. Each slide will highlight the symptoms and will be opened for discussion.

Date: Once monthly on a Wednesday.

Refreshment: Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided

Fee: £40.00 per person depending on the number and duration

The event will run with a minimum of ten attendees, for approximately 1.5 hours.
