Compassionate mindfulness 8-week course
Do you find that self-doubt, anxiety, low mood or self-criticism can sometimes hold you back?
This eight week course will help to counter these unhelpful patterns using mindfulness and self-compassion practices.
Run by an experienced clinical psychologist, the course is a unique opportunity to develop a new way of relating to yourself.
Each week we will explore ideas from compassion focused therapy, learning about the human mind, how it works and how we can best manage it. We will practice ideas and techniques designed to enable more compassionate responses towards ourselves, enabling us to live as fully as possible. We will practice mindfulness meditation and guided imagery specifically developed to activate the soothing emotion regulation system, associated with care and connection. These practices will help to tone down an overactive threat system which can be easily activated for many of us day to day.
