Christmas stress - using mindfulness to create a calmer you at Christmas
Christmas is coming. There are expectations that surround Christmas that create their own stresses. Stress can end up making a happy family event into a traumatic and angry one, with disappointment and family fall outs.
This is a small workshop designed to improve your understanding of your stress, both in terms of the physiological response but also your thoughts and behaviours.
Tools and ideas based around the principles of mindfulness are applied to personal experiences of stress to enable the participants to have an increased ability to have a calmer and more fulfilled Christmas.
There will be meditations and group work. Please dress in relaxed comfortable clothing.
This event will also run on Monday 11th December, 7pm-9pm.
