'Bicycle wheel to bedspring'
Carol Jolliffe works with child and family training and has a great deal of experience working in child and family social work and children's mental health services. Her work in child and family training has been in the UK and has also taken her to Ireland, Egypt, Cyprus, Sweden, Germany, and Hong Kong. She works as a consultant systemic psychotherapist and as clinical lead for family therapy in an NHS Trust. She teaches on family therapy and clinical psychology training courses for the Tavistock Centre and Canterbury Christchurch University.
Carol will facilitate a two-day interactive workshop focusing on the development of systemic skills and approaches for application in counselling practice. She will share relevant examples from her own practice, but the emphasis will be on participants practising and developing skills for use in their own work. There will be an opportunity for participants to discuss their own cases and to consider how learning from the workshop may be applied.
The workshop will use presentation, DVD material, small and large group exercises and (hopefully!) lively discussion.
Early booking is advised as places are strictly limited.
Hosted by Counsellors' Collective South West LLP
CCSW was first formed to support counsellors working in GP surgeries through training and networking opportunities. We now work to support each other, our profession and those in training through arranging stimulating and memorable CPD and our GP Trainee Placement Scheme.
