Beyond the code: developing your ethical sensitivity
Chichester
PO19 7NE
Ethics are a way of being, not a set of codes or ideals.
They are embodied in the practitioner from client to client and from supervisee to trainee. Similar to therapy ethics and ethical practice are an ongoing journey.
All too often ethics can catch us out if we have not spent time developing our own ethical thinking. These can often be at key stages of our career development, where we experience increased 'ethical vulnerability'.
This interactive two-day workshop is an invitation to expand individual ethical thinking and practice, with a movement from narrative to reflective practice.
We will touch on:
- the history of ethics
- holding dual or multiple relationships
- relational ethical practice
- working on-screen or with other communication platforms.
The workshop will be an opportunity to share and reflect on ethical dilemmas, and deepen your internal ethical self.
There will be a CPD certificate for 12 hours on completion of the workshop.
