Introducing the ideas of somatic therapy and synaesthesia (the process of sensing and dual awareness).

Somatic therapy acknowledges connection between body and mind, and it uses our Sensing – Emotion – Thoughts – Image – Behaviour to connect us to the client's world. It helps us to develop a better understanding of what is happening in our body and in the mind.

This also helps us to become aware of how the changes in our body movement can bring up to the surface different emotions, thoughts and images, giving us more choice of understanding the client's world.

Exploring the deep empathy/intuition in connecting to the different forms of our intuitions and energy responses from the somatic, body brain to etheric using the gut feeling as a process of sensing and the idea of empathy neurones – as energy transfer which we might call transference.

This experiential workshop looks at this fascinating world and our connections to it, which we will all use but might not be aware of in the counselling therapeutic process with clients.

Anyone who has ever asked why am I being affected differently by the session, what’s this headache about, why am I taking the client home with me. This workshop will answer these questions and more.

Book both Belfast workshops for a discounted rate.
