Allowing yourself to slow right down, to deeply rest and relax in the fullest possible way. Letting go of tensions, thoughts, worries, shoulds, expectations, and so much more. Allowing yourself to be. Finding the 'light-heart' you knew as a child.
Stress builds up easily, leading to burnout, and further down the line to periods of anxiety or depression. These emotional states are amongst the greatest health risks of our time, and most of us will have had some experience of one or the other. If we don't know how to deal with these states over time, we can get a sense of feeling trapped, seeing no way out, which in the worst cases can lead to loss of hope, frustration, resignation, and helplessness.
I'm offering a light-hearted approach with humour and common sense to guide you into exercises from mindfulness and yoga, meditation, exercises to enhance body awareness, and conscious breathing, as well as relational exercises to strengthen your capacity for inner-peace, a balanced mind, and a light-heart.

My aim with this course is to pick up a need in society to destress. I see many clients in my practice suffering from severe depression and anxiety and I'm convinced that if we learn again to deeply relax and take rests, these issues would not take over so many people's lives.
