Workshop aims:

  • Understanding attachment theory and its significance for therapeutic and relational working.
  • Understanding the neurobiological processes of attachment and relational trauma.
  • Exploring our roles as helping professionals in striving to model a ‘secure base’ for clients, patients and/or service users.
  • Exploring more embodied treatment approaches and interventions for working with attachment and/or relational traumas.
