Anxiety workshops for teens
Mental health problems experienced by our children and teenagers are on the increase with reports of anxiety, depression and self-harm at the top of the list.
?This is a series of mini-workshops designed to help teenagers understand what anxiety is, how it triggers and how they can cope with it. The series will open with a look at what happens in the brain and what happens in their bodies, some of the external causes and what the can do to begin to get a control over their anxiety.
The workshops are interactive and hands-on.
This is a series of six mini-workshops aimed at helping teens understand and overcome their anxiety.
We will use neuroscience, psychology and art-therapy to understand what anxiety is, how it manifests, what to do and how to overcome it.
Sessions run for two hours each, and all six need to be attended for maximum benefit.
