Anxiety management group
Every month we hold an Anxiety Management Group in Buckhurst Hill, created to help those who are experiencing anxiety a space to come together and offer peer support to others. These lively and engaging groups allow participants to share their experiences, thoughts, fears and techniques that may help them. Anxiety can be a challenging and often misunderstood place to be, we do not always get the support we need and life can become quite lonely and isolated.
Peer support means our participants lead the way! The facilitators bring in exercises that help individuals to understand their anxieties and offer tools and techniques for reducing the physical, emotional and psychological symptoms attached to unhealthy levels of anxiety.
About Nina Mitchell
I am a qualified integrative therapist, and an approved therapist with Anxiety UK. In addition to my private work I run local groups on a not-for-profit basis as not everyone can access counselling easily, therefore a great way to learn and heal can be through peer support.
