An introduction to working with anger for children and young people
The aim of this workshop is to increase your knowledge, skills and techniques and to add to your current toolkit when working with anger.
Anger is a common referral reason for many children and adolescents. This course will facilitate a safe space for clinicians to reflect on how to work with anger in a creative and non-shaming way.
We will importantly begin with your own experience of anger and this will be done in a gentle and confidential way. We will then consider the function of anger and look at the links between neuroscience and anger. Throughout the training day, we will relate new learning to case examples and we will formulate ways of working with anger with children and young people.
This workshop is facilitated by Catherine Edmund's and provides 6 CPD points.
