All day mindfulness event
As part of the eight week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course, there is an all day event between weeks six and seven that allows participants to experience a retreat-like day of practice.
Anyone who has already completed an eight week course or similar is invited to come and join us for that day. Maybe you had a practice that has lapsed slightly and you would like a chance to refresh your practice, or maybe you would just like to join some like-minded people in a day of quiet contemplation.
The day is predominantly in silence and participants are asked to bring a packed lunch so that we can have a chance to use eating mindfully as part of the practice.
