From time to time we read of a film star, footballer or some other celebrity declaring that the reason for their infidelities is that they are a sex addict. Many people are sceptical about this, so what are the facts? This half-day workshop aims to address the issues around this type of compulsive behaviour and its treatment.

To book, go to our website at www.accordtherapists.com and click on 'Training Events'.

This interactive training event is suitable for therapists, couples counsellors, trainees and volunteers. Delegates will look at:

  • What the compulsion is or isn't.
  • Is it just men?
  • The types of addiction and their functions.
  • The possible harmful consequences.
  • How to be more comfortable with the idea of 'other' sexual behaviour.
  • What the implications are for therapists and how sex addiction is best treated.

Key Speaker: Kim Wallis
