8 week mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy course
This eight week mindfulness based cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) programme is delivered over eight weeks between the 21st April and 16th of June (Fridays, 7pm - 9pm with a break on the 2nd of June) at Indee yoga studio in the Old Town of Hemel Hempstead.
Participants must ideally be able to attend all eight weeks, particularly the first one, and be prepared to commit to daily homework practise throughout the course.
Combining mindfulness meditation and cognitive behavioural therapy, this evidence based course is clinically proven to reduce stress and provide tools to help manage the challenges we might experience in our lives.
This course follows a structured programme and each week has a theme and practise to learn. Participants will receive handouts and an audio CD for homework practise. We are keeping group sizes relatively small to help ensure people get the most out of the experience.
Tania is a teacher trainer of mindfulness, a counsellor and CBT therapist. Helen is a mindfulness practitioner, counsellor and CBT therapist and owner of the Acorn Wellbeing centre.

The cost of this course is £250 with a £50 deposit on registration. Please let us know if cost is a concern, we have put places aside for applicants who may require concessions in order to be able to attend.
