3 day self-care and CPD retreat for therapists and coaches
We’d love you to join us for a beautiful weekend of embodied self-care and learning. In our work as therapists and coaches we can often feel isolated, this retreat offers a chance to connect with self and others. As your hosts we will join you on your journey from the minute we welcome you to the moment you leave us. You're welcome to do as much, or as little as you please but here is what we have on offer.
The essence of self-care is balance, during your stay with us you will experience the power of resetting your vagus nerve and gain real-life experience and skills to help you achieve balance and harmony in body and mind whether you need to cool down, warm up, or stay in neutral, this will be an invaluable practice you can use for yourself and in your work with others.
The Verdanta is a luxury grade II-listed retreat centre nestled in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, the property is set in stunning gardens with breathtaking views of the nearby countryside, and facilities include a gym, spa, and walks by the lake. Enjoy delicious and heartwarming vegetarian meals lovingly prepared by a team of experienced in-house chefs.

Friday night
- 5pm - Meet and greet, welcome drink
- 7pm - Dinner
- 8.30pm - Most resourceful self visualisation
- 9.00pm - Inner harmony with EFT
- 9.30pm - Journalling - Prepare the mind for restful sleep
Saturday
- 8am- Guided meditation and stretch/walk
- 9am - Breakfast
- 10am - Polyvagal theory explained
- 11am - Break
- 11.30am - Vagus nerve reset workshop
- 1pm - Lunch
- Free afternoon – use of the spa facilities, you can also book a massage, please let us know in advance so we can arrange with the in-house masseuse
- 7pm - Dinner
- 8.30pm - Joyful movement
Sunday
- 8am - Nature bathing
- 9am - Breakfast
- 10am - Workshop integrating self-care - keeping it real.
- 11.15am - Break
- 11.45am - Laughter and connection session
- 1pm – Lunch ( goodie bag)
- 2pm – Check out and farewell

How to get there
The closest airport is Humberside (HUY). The venue is also accessible by train from London airports. Please note that guests are responsible for making their way to and from the retreat location, this is not included in the price.
Arrival by car: There is free parking on-site for 45 cars.
Arrival by train: The closest station is Lincoln Station (10 min drive from The Vedanta), approximately a 2.5-hour journey from Kings Cross and Birmingham New Street.
