Zoe Young Counselling Services. Dip. Couns. MBACP.
Are you feeling low or sad and need some one to talk to? If you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious, lonely or depressed and feel like you have no-one to turn to, I can help. Being listened to in a place that offers safety, warmth and compassion, free from judgement, can help you to feel really heard and accepted for who you are.
I am a qualified and experienced counsellor. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and adhere to their Ethical Framework. I will offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to talk through your worries and difficulties.
My theoretical approach to counselling is integrative, meaning I work in a person-centred and psychodynamic way. I can help you explore unresolved childhood experiences and what is happening in your life in the here and now. I can help if you are experiencing difficulties in your life that you need to resolve and get your life back on track.
I work with adults of any age who may be experiencing a wide range of issues, such as:
- relationship issues
- family issues
- unsresolved childhood experiences
- abuse - physical, emotional or sexual
- work related difficulties
- self harm
- suicidal thoughts and feelings.
I can help you to gain new insight and self awareness so that you can make changes in your life, enabling you to move forward.
My practice is set in the glorious countryside, offering a peaceful and tranquil setting, which can help you to feel relaxed and calm.
I am able to travel to you if you are unable to travel to me. Give me a call to discuss and we can make arrangements.
