About me

*Available for EAP work *

I am a integrative therapist which means I can provide a service which is tailor-made to your needs. I am able to provide online, telephone or face to face counselling.

I have worked with a wide range of issues, from relationships or grief to severe anxiety but you do not have to be stressed/ depressed/anxious to need counselling. Sometimes all we need is to be heard. I aim to provide you with a warm, inviting, listening environment to work through your situation/fears/concerns and hope you leave with the tools needed to protect and support your own emotional needs.

You may wonder how long you will need to attend counselling for and this of course depends on you.  I usually suggest 6 sessions but I review this with you regularly and of course you have the right to withdraw.

Starting counselling can appear daunting which is why I now offer a free consultation (up to 50mins) face to face or online/telephone.  This allows you too visit the environment, meet me and see how we get along. It is also a great opportunity to ask any questions or share any worries. For anyone that is really worried about counselling this  free consultation allows you to bring a trusted relative/friend.

I also offer concessions for students, OAPs and people who are in receipt of Universal Credit (Proof required).

I also can offer concessions for people who are able to block book sessions.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look around and look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
