About me
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, or self-esteem, I’m here to offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can begin to make sense of what’s going on and work towards meaningful change.
I’m an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience working in the mental health sector. With my experience as a therapist, I will work collaboratively with you to help you explore the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours — and learn practical strategies to manage difficult emotions, reduce distress, and build resilience. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) will help you to understand and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier coping strategies, in turn reducing anxiety, stress and/or low mood.
Therapy sessions are tailored to your unique needs, and we work at your pace, with compassion and collaboration at the heart of the process.
Areas I can help with include:
- Depression
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Panic disorder
- Agoraphobia
- Health anxiety
- Social anxiety
- Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD)
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD)
- Stress difficulties including work-related stress, stress from relationships or daily life pressures
- Low self-esteem and confidence
While I have a broad experience across anxiety and mood-related difficulties, I have a particular interest in working with stress, social anxiety, and low self-esteem — areas where CBT can be especially effective in improving quality of life.
If you're curious about how therapy could support you, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call to answer your questions and help you decide if I’m the right fit for you.
You don't have to stay stuck or struggle on your own. Let's take that next step together and help you achieve meaningful steps towards improved mental and emotional wellbeing.
Training, qualifications & experience
My academic training has provided me with a strong foundation in both psychological theory and evidence-based therapeutic practice. Each qualification has helped shape my approach and deepened my understanding of mental health.
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Royal Holloway, University of London
This BABCP-accredited programme provided intensive, clinical training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. It equipped me with the practical skills to deliver structured, evidence-based interventions for a range of anxiety and mood disorders. Through supervised clinical work and academic study, I developed advanced skills in assessment, formulation, and collaborative treatment planning, as well as an in-depth understanding of the cognitive and behavioural processes that underpin emotional difficulties. Having obtained this qualification, I continue to adhere to the BABCP Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in my work.
- Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Advanced Practice in Psychological Wellbeing – University of Surrey
This course focused on enhancing clinical practice and developing advanced therapeutic skills within a stepped-care model of mental health support. It strengthened my ability to work with clients with common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression using and helped me to integrate psychological theory with practical tools to support behavioural change and emotional resilience in clients.
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Psychology – London South Bank University
This conversion course provided a comprehensive grounding in core areas of psychology, including biological, cognitive, developmental, and social psychology, as well as research methods and ethics. It gave me a scientific understanding of human behaviour and mental processes, which continues to inform my evidence-based approach to therapy.
