Are you struggling to navigate difficult feelings and experiences, and looking for someone who is warm, kind, caring and compassionate, who will provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to share and explore your feelings?
My qualifications and experience
I am a fully accredited Therapeutic Counsellor, accredited by the CPCAB and a member of the BACP, and I working within their ethical framework to ensure a safe and supportive practice. I'm also fully insured. I also have many years experience working in the field of mental health, as a mentor and support worker.
What led me to become a counsellor
It was my own healing crisis which led me to seek counselling, then train as a counsellor with Sweet Track Counselling Services in Glastonbury. Their psychospiritual approach strongly resonated with q sense of there being a deeper dimension to who I am.
My approaches
Person-Centered
I'm a person-centered counsellor which means that you are at the centre of the counselling process and that you have the inner wisdom to know what you need for your own healing, and I will facilitate you in this process.
Astrology, Palmistry and Tarot
As someone who is an astrologer, palmist and tarot reader, offer these as part of the counselling sessions or alternatively as separate readings if you are interested.
Creative Arts Therapy
I also have many years experience working in the creative arts, and offer these as part of my practice, as I believe they are an excellent way to connect with your deeper feelings and explore your unique creativity.
Jungian influences
I'm also inspired by the ideas of Carl Jung, especially his work with dreams, which I belief are a powerful way to access your deeper feelings and needs. I am also interested in his concept of synchronicity, and how we make meaning from these experiences in our lives.
Nature based therapy
I believe that being outdoors in the natural world can have immense healing benefits, therefor I also offer counselling sessions outdoors, it this is something you are interested in.

I have over 25 years experience working for a London charity as a support worker, working in people's homes, this includes adults with mental health issues and physical disabilities.
I have over 25 years experience supporting people who are neurodiverse in a variety of settings, including schools, colleges, youth clubs, theatre groups, universities and in people's homes.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

I offer a sliding scale from £40-£50 depending on your financial status, which we can discuss in the initial session. The initial introductory session lasts for 30 minutes is free. This will take place either by phone or online.

Further information
As someone who identifies as LGBTQ+, I have both personal and professional experience working with this client group, and offer support for people who also identify as LGBTQ+ with issues concerning identity and sexuality.
I also have a diagnosis of dyslexia and dyspraxia, and have many years experience working with people who are neuro-diverse.
